Fresh off his solo debut, ‘Resolve EP’ for Y4 Collective last Fall, Fortune Signal co-founder D.D. Curry returns to home base to drop a pair of club-tested, jackin’ singles.

‘How I Roll’ is a subby speed garage inspired groover, cheekily built around a friend’s colorful drunken voicemail.

On ‘You Got This,’ ghostly vocal samples cast an afterhours shade on a 2-step UKG-inspired soundscape. D.D.’s own voice cuts through the haze with his positive declaration that you, indeed, got this.

With both tracks, D.D. Curry offers a fond tribute to influences like classic dub reggae and UK garage, filtered through his unique lens and informed by seminal U.S. house traditions.
